All jambs provided by Treely Doors are made with solid wood. Standard options are a flat jamb with adjustable stop and rabbeted jamb. Precise mortising and prep are a necessity to ensure proper installation and the finish product you’re expecting. All Treely doors and jambs are CNC mortised, guaranteeing that hinge pockets are mortised to exact measurements. Prep for hardware is also included: Boring and latch/deadbolt mortising for handles and locksets. You have the flexibility to choose from single or double bore options, each available in different “backset” positions (the placement of the handle or lockset from the door edge).

Flat jamb with adjustable stop

Solid wood jamb and a solid wood stop. When choosing Treely’s factory pre-finish option, the process ensures that jambs and stops are finished separately, allowing for hassle-free installation and on-site adjustment without the need for finish touch-ups.

Jambs for Exterior Doors

Rabbeted Jamb

Rabbeted jambs have a non-adjustable stop cut into solid piece of wood, integrating with a neoprene weatherstrip (Q-Lon®) for effective sealing against air and the elements.

The jamb bottom is mortised to accept either an adjustable sill or ADA non-adjustable sill.
